An introduction to Andy Warhol and Pop art - a lesson that also emphasized the principles of repetition and symmetry.I took photos of the students that they used later to make multiple tracings.

Islamic patterns - acrylics on canvas

Year 5 students learnt about Islamic patterns.They discussed where they had seen them and their characteristics. Each of them painted a pattern on canvas and we displayed them like a "magic carpet" at our art expo.
